LAW IN EVERYDAY LIFE
In a country there are people, there is a government, there are law-enforcing agencies and there are obviously miscreants. Law enforcing agencies sometimes become oppressive advertently or inadvertently. One should know one’s rights before one enforces them. A person should know his/her obligations so that s/he do not become a pain in the neck for others! Apart from opting for an independent and dignified profesion, a degree in law gives you the confidence in a three-fold manner. When you become a Barrister nobody dares to treat you in an unlawful manner. Because they know their life will be difficult if they try to treat you unlawfully. Secondly , you know where to go , or in other words, you know where your remedy lies. Thirdly, you know how to get the remedy. It cannot be denied that in a developing country like Bangladesh we face many hurdles. The treatment is not always the same, though it is our fundamental right to be treated equally. Hence, it is us who will have to uphold our rights and the law degree will give us the power to do it.
